Mansfield Nail Salon Freshens Up
About the client
The client contacted us after recently taking over a nail salon and wanted to give the space a fresh, updated look. As the salon was already a working business, it was important that the decorating work was carried out efficiently and with minimal disruption. The project focused on freshening up the interior so the client could begin operating the salon with a cleaner, more refreshed environment.
The Brief
The client wanted the work completed between Christmas and New Year, as this was the best time to reduce the impact on the business. This created a tight window for the project, meaning the work needed to be carefully planned and completed within a short timeframe. We were happy to accommodate the client’s requirements and scheduled the work accordingly.
The main challenge was completing the decorating work quickly while still maintaining a high standard of finish. The salon also had high ceilings and walls, which added an extra level of difficulty to the project and required a safe, organised approach throughout.
Our approach
To complete the work efficiently, two decorators worked on the project and split the salon into sections. Each decorator focused on completing their own area, allowing the work to progress in a structured and organised way. This helped ensure that all areas of the salon received the attention needed while keeping the overall project moving within the agreed timescale.
The high ceilings and walls presented a challenge, but the team managed the work safely and effectively. By dividing the space into sections and maintaining a focused approach, we were able to complete the decorating work within four days.
Results
The work was completed on time and within the agreed four-day period. The client was happy with the finished result, and the business experienced minimal disruption during the process. Most importantly, the salon was able to open on time, allowing the client to continue operating as planned after the Christmas and New Year period.
