Media Wall & Living Room Decorated

About the client

A new customer contacted us to decorate their living room, including painting a newly installed media wall.

The Brief

The customers had a clear idea of the style and design they wanted for their living room but were unsure which paint colours and finishes would be best for the media wall and surrounding areas. They wanted a durable finish, and so we advised on the best products to use to achieve this.

Our approach

We began by preparing the media wall, which had been freshly plastered. This required a mist coat to seal the surface and ensure proper adhesion before applying the topcoats of emulsion.

The ceiling, walls and woodwork were then prepped, with all cracks and holes filled, and sanded ready for painting. The wooden slats on the left of the media wall, concealing a door into a utility room, were then primed, ready for topcoats.

Once all the topcoats were completed, the final stage of the project was hanging the feature wallpaper to tie the room together.

Results

The customers loved their new living room, and we will be back in 2026 to do more work for them.
